• Registration deadline: April 30, 2027
• Eligibility: Full-time students in grade 8 or below (primary or middle school) who are under 16 years old by August 30, 2027.

2027 USA-NA-AIO Round 1 rules are now posted

The Round 1 schedule, competition format, required software, recording requirements, and exam-day rules are now available. Students and proctors should review the 2027 Round 1 rules and instructions before the competition.

Meet Team USA for the 2027 IAIO

The following students will represent the United States at the 2027 International AI Olympiad (IAIO), which will be held in Vietnam from February 25 to March 2, 2027.

• Registration for the 2027 USA-NA-AIO competition is now open. It will close on January 31, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
• The 2027 Round 1 competition will take place on February 19, 2027, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST.
• USA-NA-AIO is the unique pathway for U.S. students to represent the U.S. at the following three international competitions:
  • IOAI
  • IAIO
  • IAI²O AIIC
